Local SEO for Garages & Automotive Businesses
Own your postcode, or someone else will.
Nearly every local job starts with a search, and most of those searches end in the map results. If you're not showing there, your competitors are taking work that should be yours.
01
Sound familiar?
You've got great reviews, more than the garage up the road, but they still show above you on Google. That's the bit nobody tells you: reviews alone don't get you into the map pack. Your Google Business Profile setup, categories, and dozens of technical signals decide who shows up. We've audited garages with 4.9 stars and hundreds of reviews who were invisible for the searches that matter.
02
What we do
We find out exactly where you show up, and where you don't. Using geo-grid scanning, we map your visibility street by street across your coverage area, for the searches your customers actually make. Then we fix what's suppressing you: profile categories, service listings, content, citations and review strategy.
And where your website itself is holding you back, with page structure, content or technical issues, we fix that too.
You'll see the before and after on a map. Not a ranking report full of jargon: a picture of your area turning from red to green.

FAQs
Why isn't my garage showing up on Google Maps?
Usually not reviews. It's your Google Business Profile setup: wrong primary category, missing services, weak signals in the areas you serve. One wrong setting can suppress you for entire categories of searches. A visibility scan shows exactly where you're invisible and why.
Do Google reviews help my garage rank higher?
They help, but they're one factor among dozens. We regularly see garages with brilliant reviews being outranked by average competitors with better-optimised profiles. Reviews build trust with customers; profile optimisation gets you seen in the first place.
What is the Google map pack and why does it matter?
The map results shown at the top of local searches, usually three businesses. For "near me" searches, that's where most clicks and calls go. Ranking on page one of normal results means little for a garage if you're missing from the map pack.
How long does local SEO take to work?
Some fixes move things within weeks. A wrong profile category corrected can change visibility fast. Broader gains build over 3 to 6 months. We rescan on a schedule so you see the movement, not just hear about it.
How much does local SEO cost for a small business?
Depends on your starting point and how competitive your area is. A visibility audit tells you the size of the job before you spend anything on fixing it. Be wary of cheap "SEO packages": they're usually automated directory submissions that do nothing.
